Jackson Triggs Cabernet Sauvignon

(1 customer review)

The well-known winery’s current release is a cabernet sauvignon with a lower alcohol concentration. Dark fruit, candied cherries, and a note of cedar dominate the smells and flavors of this ruby-colored wine. This wine is light-plus-bodied, fruity, and silky, making it ideal for light appetizers.

To promote color and flavor extraction, the Cabernet Sauvignon was cold macerated. After 3 days, it was warmed up and fermentation with properly chosen yeast began. After a 10-day fermentation period, the grapes were gently pressed and the wine was transferred to a tank. Before being sent to mature and evolve in barrel for 16 months, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation.

On the nose, our Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied with slight blackcurrant fruit. On the palate, it’s a dry, well-balanced wine with silky tannins and wood nuances.
