Treat these as separate search areas, not stops you must fit into one afternoon. For Toronto, start with the neighbourhood of your chosen activity and look for a second nearby listing. For Mississauga or Brampton, search locally first and verify each venue address. Culture Days is a province-wide umbrella, not one venue with a shared opening time.

If a cross-city journey is worthwhile, give the transfer its own place in the schedule. Compare regional travel in the GO Transit planner, and consult the relevant local transit service for the last part of the trip. Do not interpret an event's start time as the moment you should arrive at the nearest station.

Details to check in every activity listing

• The actual session date and duration, rather than just the overall festival date range.
• Whether advance registration is required and whether each member of your group needs a separate booking.
• Age guidance, language, physical access and any materials participants should bring.
• The organizer's contact information and cancellation or weather arrangements.

Give a workshop enough room in the day

For a making activity, carry a bag that can hold anything you create, but ask the organizer whether the finished piece goes home that day. Avoid placing another timed booking immediately afterwards. If your group includes people who prefer watching to participating, check that the activity description actually accommodates both.

Photographs can help you remember an inspiring detail, but ask before photographing people, artwork or the working area. A shared note with the artist's name and a link to their work is often more useful than dozens of unlabelled images. It also gives you something specific to discuss over dinner.
